Connecting students to the tools they need to succeed
Bridge The Divide Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established to assist educational institutions in offering high-speed internet access to their students, and helping schools teach students to find and use the information and resources available via the internet.
By providing high-speed broadband access and free computing equipment to schools, we bridge the digital gap that separates children in rural and low-income homes from those with ready access to the internet.
Recognizing that students must leverage the information revolution to be prepared to succeed in twenty-first century society, the Foundation provides schools with free computer equipment and free internet access utilizing its affiliations and committed resources.
Having held licenses in the Educational Broadband Service in Colorado and Alabama, we have supported both universities and K–12 public schools by constructing access points and providing direct internet interconnection for students.
High-speed internet connectivity is not a luxury it is a necessity for the education and well-being of the youth of our country. And it remains a scarcity in our rural communities. Federal programs initiated during the pandemic to subsidize rural access ended in early 2024, leaving those students in a gap once again. Through our Foundation, we continue to provide connection and are committed to doing so into the future.
Broadband Infrastructure
We constructed wireless access points and provided internet interconnection to schools in Colorado and Alabama, serving communities that lacked broadband access.
Free Computing Equipment
We fund and deliver tablets and computers to students who lack devices, ensuring full participation in digital learning.
Educational Partnerships
We work alongside schools and other nonprofits to help students and teachers make the most of the online resources available to them.

We direct our efforts to communities where commercial internet providers won't go — where the need is greatest.
